I wanna love you one day,

I can’t right now

I’m still learning to love myself

but I wanna love you one day.

I’ll wait, cause you’re like

a Sunday sunrise,

charmingly calm.

My heart almost can’t take

your solar colors.

I don’t want you to be my sun,

just a bright star in my sky

of happiness that makes the others

seem dimmer.

I’ll love you one day,

even if I’m alone in that love.

It’ll burn I’m sure,

and it’ll be the best.
