You were a unexpected wave
in my ocean of plans
I crafted out of chaos and heartbreak.
Stubbornly determined
to navigate my sea alone
for eternity.
Crashed my course
and shifted my heart
before I could blink my green eyes.
Some hope,
in the sunset
fit for a king and queen;
on a twin sized bed
below the twinkle lights.
Uncharted territory
in the midst of a impending storm.
Is it disastrous?
It’s too enticing,
enchanting,
alluring
for me to think it’s not worth it.
